- Why must I register my OneCause Visa Platinum?
Because of federal privacy regulations, the credit card issuer, Chase, is not able to share the credit card number with OneCause. They have created a unique identifier (ID) for each card holder account. Chase will report card issuance and monthly purchase summaries to us using this ID rather than the card number. As a result, OneCause must associate the ID for your card with your account before your cause or school will earn the 1% contribution.
To register your OneCause Visa® Platinum, simply login to My Home then click "Credit/Debit Cards." - How can I earn a $20 bonus contribution?
Currently, OneCause offers a $20 bonus contribution for the cause or school of every Supporter who signs up for, registers and makes their first purchase with a new OneCause Visa® Platinum. Apply for your OneCause Visa Platinum today!
- Why does my Transaction Report not match my credit card statement?
Your Transaction Report may not match your OneCause Visa(R) Platinum credit card statement because most merchants only provide a contribution on the gross sales amount. They exclude other charges that appear on your statement including gift certificates, gift wrapping, sales tax, shipping and handling. Additionally, some merchants may exclude purchases like alcohol and tobacco from your contribution.
- Will I earn contributions on credit card balances transfers?
No. You will not earn contributions on credit card balance transfers.
- How can I cancel my OneCause Visa Platinum?
If you would like to cancel your OneCause Visa® Platinum, please contact Chase. The toll-free number for Chase customer service is (800) 297-1286. Once your card is canceled, your purchases will no longer earn contributions for your nonprofit cause or school.
- Can I earn contributions on purchases made internationally?
Yes. You can earn contributions for your favorite cause or school on your everyday purchases made anywhere in the world; however, you must be a resident of the United States to apply for and receive a OneCause Visa Platinum.
- How long until my cause or school receives my OneCause Visa contributions?
Your cause or school will be eligible to earn contributions from your OneCause Visa® Platinum purchases after you have registered your credit card with OneCause. It will then take approximately 6 to 8 weeks for your purchase contributions to be posted to your cause's or school's account. OneCause pays out contributions on a quarterly basis (February, May, August and November). See the Terms of Use for complete details.
