Promote Your PTA Credit Card Fundraising Program

1. Distribute the PTA Visa Flyer

   This flyer explains why and how to apply for the PTA Visa powered by Capital One.

2. Add a Banner to Your Website


Here's how to add this banner to your website:

1. Locate the URL for your PTA Visa Apply page. It should look like this: www.cardlabconnect.com/yourptacreditcard

2. Copy and paste all of the following code into your website, then replace the text marked below in red with your PTA specific URL.

3. Message Supporters about your new PTA card program

Use this free messaging tool to send a message to "All Supporters" who have chosen to support your local PTA through OneCause. Include the following information in your message:

4. Post a news announcement on your PTA profile

Tell the OneCause community about your PTA Visa powered by Capital One! Click "Post News" at your My School page, and write a short message about how easy it is to earn money for PTA with this new card program. Your news post will appear on your PTA profile page and in your OneCause Supporters' "Updates" feed on My Home.

Other requirements when marketing your program

Regulations govern how PTA Visa powered by Capital One product terms can be used in advertising. Mentioning specific product terms in any kind of promotional material could trigger a legal requirement to provide detailed terms and conditions of the credit product as well. For this reason, you must not mention fees, interest rates (APRs) or introductory rate periods in your marketing materials. However, you may mention product features such as the initial $25 contribution, the ongoing 1% contribution on purchases, and the ability to design up to three card options. These features do not trigger a legal requirement to provide additional disclosures.
